'A Colourful Community' captures the spirit of the people of Kuaotunu, Whangapoua, Matarangi, Otama & Opito. Creating the book was an amazing experience. My vision for the book was to capture how people from all walks of life, within a small community, come together with a variety of causes to live and enjoy diversity. The book is 240 pages, has three cover options and comes in two sizes. The grand square is $115 and medium square $75. Prints are also available. I live on the beautiful Coromandel in the bush in a place called 'The Blue Fridge Valley' just north of Kuaotunu Village. My career in photography started 15 years ago when I was driving tour buses throughout New Zealand for Kiwi Experience. I was inspired by the endless photo opportunities of amazing landscapes and interesting people I came across during my travels living 'on the road'. Photography assignments include commercial shoots for updating brand imagery for both local Coromandel businesses and for clients throughout New Zealand. I also offer family portrait sessions, weddings & event photography. I love photographing the beautiful scenery we have here and sell prints and Coromandel stock photos.

I love photographing people. Check out the collection below of beautiful families I have had the pleasure of photographing here on the Coromandel. Family photo sessions a typically 1.5 hours and I always include a selection of creative black and white edits on the USB too. I capture a mix of both traditional group shots and more candid & natural documentary style of photos at a location that works for you.

An amazing night in Kuaotunu supporting fundraising efforts for Te Rerenga School Pump Track. There were Kings and Queens, Princes and Princesses, Knights and Nobleman, Monks/Clergy and Priestesses, Wahine Warriors, Witches, Warlocks and Wrenches, The Plaque Doctor, Peasants including a rat infested one, Shakespeare himself and all the other riffraff! Everyone looked fabulous and helped create an awesome atmosphere in the hall. A huge thanks to the legendary Jannine Verner for your efforts together with many helpers who made this wonderful community night possible.
